by Independence Blue Cross is proud to offer free or low-cost health insurance to more than 20,000 kids and teens in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia counties with
premiums as low as $0.
No family in Pennsylvania makes too much to qualify for CHIP! CHIP covers all kids and teens up to age 19 who are not covered elsewhere or eligible for Medical Assistance (Medicaid). There is no waiting list to enroll in CHIP, and there are no exclusions for pre-existing conditions.
All CHIP plans include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, hearing, and prescription drug coverage.
The plans also have no deductibles for covered medical and prescription drug services and copays as low as $0 for primary care visits, specialist visits, urgent and emergency care, and prescription drugs. We also cover immunizations, behavioral health benefits, durable medical equipment, rehabilitation therapies, and much more.
