Dr. Anjali Chainani has over 20 years of experience in local government and non-profits, gaining experience in evidence-informed policymaking, municipal budgeting and finance, applied behavioral insights research, and strategic change management. As a seasoned local government leader in the Mayor's Office and City Council, Anjali is passionate about advancing the practical use of data to inform policy, planning, and management decisions. Anjali serves as a Senior Advisor for Equity in Government for Results for America. Anjali teaches at the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government and Widener University’s School of Social Work. Anjali holds a PhD in Health Policy, and a double master’s in public health and social work.
