Gary developed his passion for photography during his early Navy days while stationed on Guam.  Post service, he earned a BS degree in Civil Engineering (structures major) in 1979 from Drexel University.  His civil engineering career spanned over 30 years during which he worked on building, earthwork and environmental projects as an owner's representative and contractor. He maintains his Professional Engineer License in Texas.

Gary then started an award winning residential and commercial remodeling business that lasted 12 years.  In 2013, he started Altoonian Photography fulfilling a long time dream of turning his passion into a viable photography business based in West Chester, PA.

I am a digital marketing expert leveraging over 25 years of creating marketing materials, especially videos. When I am not marketing for our clients, I am on the beaches at Fenwick Island Delaware, or in my Wood Turning studio, or playing soccer, or just hanging out with my wonderful wife Mary and our three kids streaming our favorite movies and tv shows.

Ms. Christine Herman is an instructional leader with 24 years of public, charter and private school experience. She is an expert in supporting teachers and families in providing resources that are “best for kids”.  She started her professional career as a music teacher in the Oxford Area School District and held administration roles for Camelot, the School District of Lancaster, Cocalico School District and Renaissance Academy Charter School. Ms. Herman received her BS in Music Education from West Chester University and her MA in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. She is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Administration from William Taft University. She resides in Downingtown with her son, and has a daughter in college who is studying education. In her spare time she enjoys Crossfit, traveling and music.
