About the Speaker:
Kristin Costin is the owner of The Jeweled Warrior, an enchanted forest gallery and gathering space in the heart of Eagle. She is a passionate collector of jewelry and art, and the stories of the artists behind them. In April of 2022 she opened the doors to her gallery that is home to sustainable fine jewelry, local artisan gifts and exhibits, and engaging events.
Prior to her current endeavors, she held the role of Events Coordinator at the esteemed Pierre Restaurant Group in Conshohocken. During this time, she found herself in the position of having to independently acquire the skills necessary for website management and the creation of compelling email campaigns. These responsibilities were delegated to her with only rudimentary guidance, prompting her to embark on a self-driven journey of mastering these essential skill sets. Following that, her time as the Director of Communications for Arts Holding Hands and Hearts (AHHAH) allowed her to hone her social media skills for marketing for the nonprofit sector.
While working for AHHAH, Kristin also became a patient advocate for people with endometriosis. Working in conjunction with Abbvie, she traveled around the country for two years giving presentations to thousands of medical and pharmaceutical professionals on the reality of living with endometriosis. Through these impactful addresses, she not only honed her aptitude for commanding large audiences but also deepened her expertise in the art of persuasion. Kristin continues to be an avid advocate for people with endometriosis, incorporating a robust philanthropic program in the gallery that donates to endometriosis nonprofits working to raise awareness about the disease.
Today, Kristin artfully weaves the threads of her multifaceted experiences into her own brand's tapestry. She is delighted to share what she has learned with other women in the hopes to help move the needle forward for businesswomen in Chester County.
