Description
The Institute for Board Trustees overviews what every nonprofit board member needs to know. The 2019 workshop will cover topics such as Board Leadership: Lessons Learned; Board Responsibilities & Recruitment, Fundraising Plans: Putting It All Together; High Impact Board Stewards: Excellence and Outcomes, IRS 990, Audits, Internal Controls & GuideStar; Legal Obligations of Nonprofit Boards; Major Gifts Conversations; Planned Gifts to Secure Your Nonprofit’s Future; Planned Gifts & Estate Attorneys; Strategic Planning and more. Space is limited and registration is required. Parking: Option #1 – Free parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the Sharpless Street Parking Garage, located at the intersection of Sharpless and Church streets. Option #2 – “Pay As You Stay” Street Parking with meters will also be available but please make sure to follow payment options to avoid tickets.
