Description
Join the RKL team on Wednesday, September 22 at 11 a.m. to gain perspective and insight into the current economic outlook, latest workforce issues and tax implications of geographically dispersed employees. We'll also briefly walk you through what's in the recently proposed House Ways and Means tax bill.
What's causing rising inflation? Is the country headed for an economic rebound? Can I require my employees to be vaccinated? What can I do to retain workers and withstand the Great Resignation? Will remote workers result in state tax nexus if they don't work in the state where my business is located?
RKL experts Nick Boyer, Stephane Smith, Michael Bannasch and Eric Wenger will answer these questions and more and provide guidance on how to navigate the latest economic and workforce challenges and opportunities.
This session is eligible for one hour of CPE in the field of specialized knowledge (see details below).
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the many causes of and outlook for rising inflation.
- Interpret the current rules around vaccination requirements for private and public employers.
Recognize the implications of remote workers on state tax nexus and payroll taxes.
