Description
Join the RKL team on Wednesday, November 17 at 11 a.m. to gain perspective and insight into the latest workforce issues and challenges as you plan for year end and develop your people strategy for 2022. Whether you own the company or lead your company's Human Resources function, it's imperative to stay focused on developing and supporting your most important asset - your people.
What questions remain on implementing the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC)? What's the best approach for retaining and attracting talent? What are the key elements to implementing a successful diversity, equity and inclusion plan? What's the difference between an independent contractor and employee, and what are the tax implications?
RKL experts Stephane Smith, Eric Suazo and Lindsay Heist will answer these questions and more and provide guidance on how to manage the latest workforce challenges and opportunities.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the key elements for diversity, equity and inclusion and workforce continuity planning
- Interpret the current rules and gain guidance on compensation, recruiting, hiring and retention to stay compliant with applicable federal and state guidelines
- Recognize the implications of remote workers on employee satisfaction and payroll considerations
- Apply five quick ideas in 2022 to win the talent war
This session is eligible for one hour of CPE in the field of personnel/human resources (see details below).
